Kep Nuts

Kep Nuts, also called a K-nut, are hex head nuts with a pre-assembled, free spinning external tooth lockwasher. These are used for a more convenient assembly. Kep nuts eliminate the need for separate nut-side washers. They provide a locking action into the surface they are being applied to because they "bite" into the surface while torquing. They are strong and ideal for connections that may need to be removable.
