Socket head bolts and screws are used in applications requiring low limited clearance, where parts may not be thick enough to be counter bored, and/or where loading capacity is not critical.
U-Bolt-It has been supplying customers with socket head bolts, button socket head screws, jack bolts, slotted set screws, socket cap screw, socket set screws, and socket shoulder bolts for more than three decades.
Our staff is committed to the highest customer service and works with each client to ensure the selection of the right product for your application. Standard materials available include steel, stainless steel, and brass.

Due to their smooth raised-dome head and overall durability, button socket head screws are commonly used in automotive, electronics, machinery and manufacturing applications. Socket cap screws are more widely used for industrial applications and assembly lines as well as for steel fabrication and machine tooling applications. U-Bolt-It fastener coating materials increase corrosion and wear resistance, improve electrical conductivity, strengthen and harden, and coat the material with an attractive more durable finish.
Jack bolts are long stud bolts that use tension to either hold a part in place or to jack up or move the part into position. Their use will almost always speed up an alignment of machinery making it easier to move parts. Unlike traditional screws and bolts, socket shoulder bolts have a wide range of uses and are designed to perform specific functions. Shoulder bolts have a head, an unthreaded section and threads. A socket head shoulder bolt has a lower axial force or bolt tension limit than an equivalent sized reamer bolt.
Grub screws (or set screws) are threaded fasteners without a head that have a slot in the top. Set screws are used to secure components in place, such as affixing two parts or securing an object to a shaft. Slotted set screws bind two objects together by exerting pressure on the other object and can be driven in place using a flat blade screwdriver. The cylindrical head of socket head screws have a much lower profile than other types of fasteners, which makes them an ideal choice for use in tight spaces. The six-sided hex socket are more stress bearing to resist cam out.
